Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawaharnagar is situated in the way to Nepal from Sitamarhi in Sutihara. It is a remote locality 20 km away from the major city, Sitamarhi. Consequently, in 1965, Kendriya Vidyalaya was founded here. This is a civil sector school(Parliamentary Constituency-Sitamarhi).
